Cinnamon Cream Cheese Bars

These Cinnamon Cream Cheese Bars are SO easy to make, and SO Yummy!

This dessert is originally known as Sopapilla Cheesecake, but since I don’t think it really resembles Cheesecake and have a hard time pronouncing “sopapilla”,  I’ve changed the name! HAHA!!

These yummy Cinnamon Cream Cheese Bars are also great when you need for a quick dessert!!   And so simple to make that even the kids can help out!  🙂

Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

INGREDIENTS:

WHAT YOU NEED:

16 ounces of Cream Cheese, room temp

2 Cans of Refrigerated Crescent Rolls

1 1/2 Cups Sugar, divided

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

1/2 Cup Butter, melted

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1 Cup Chocolate Chips (optional)

9X13 Baking Dish

HOW TO:

Preheat oven to 350.  Lightly grease 9×13 baking dish.

Unroll 1 can of Refrigerated Crescent Roll and press into bottom of dish.

Make sure the dough is completely covering the bottom, pinching seams together, if necessary.

Beat until smooth

Beat Cream Cheese and 1 Cup of Sugar until smooth, then beat in Vanilla Extract.

Spread evenly

Spread mixture evenly over dough.

Optional Chocolate Chips

Sprinkle with Chocolate Chips (this step is optional).

Unroll second can of Refrigerated Crescent Roll and carefully place on top of cream cheese layer.  Pinch seams together.

Pour melted Butter evenly on top of dough.

Sprinkle with Cinnamon & Sugar

Sprinkle with Cinnamon & Sugar

Mix Cinnamon and 1/2 Cup of Sugar and sprinkle evenly over melted butter.

Bake about 25 minutes or until center is set.

Cool and refrigerate for easy cutting.
