Gluten Free, No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispies!

Gluten Free, No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispies!!!  Does it really get any better than this?!?!  We’ll let you decide.  This Yummy Bar Cookie, is Super Easy to Make with only 5 Ingredients –  that are probably already in your Cupboard!   It’s also a lot of Fun for the Kids to Help out with!  And by far, one of the BEST Gluten Free recipes I have come across!!!  🙂

So let’s get started!!!



You Need:

2 Cups Creamy Peanut Butter, divided

3/4 Cup (1 1/2 sticks) Unsalted Butter, softened

2 Cups Powdered Sugar

6 Cups Gluten Free Rice Krispies Cereal, divided  (any gluten free rice cereal will work!)

2 Cups (12 oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, divided

 First line a 9×13 Pan with parchment/wax paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.  Lightly spray paper with nonstick cooking spray.  Set aside.

Beat 1 1/4 Cups Peanut Butter and all of the Butter in a Large Mixing Bowl until Creamy.

Add Rice Cereal and Chocolate Chips

By Hand, Stir in the Rice Cereal and Chocolate Chips

Gradually beat in the Powdered Sugar.  By hand, stir in 5 Cups of Rice Krispies Cereal and 3/4 Cup of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips.  Press evenly into the prepared baking pan, and set aside.

Melt Together

Microwave remaining 1 1/4 Cups of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and 3/4 Cup Peanut Butter in a Medium Microwave-Safe Bowl on High for 1 minute, stir well.

You may have to microwave an additional 10 – 15 seconds, stirring just until morsels are melted. Repeat this step if needed.

Spread evenly

Spread Chocolate Mixture evenly over Rice Krispies Mixture.  Sprinkle with the remaining Rice Cereal.  Refrigerate for a least 3 hours or until firm.



Lift from pan, and cut!!!  Store in the refrigerator for days!  But you won’t have to because it goes quick!!! 🙂

    Great recipe – though people should be aware the regular rice krispies contain gluten in the form of (barley) malt extract. I should know – I “poisoned” myself with those on Sunday! LOL!
